The Dinosaur and the Old Fool
I will have the pleasure of showing this image within a group exhibition showcasing the results of an artist residency in the fisherman's hut on the Thau Lagoon. Exhibition 5, 6 & 7 of December 2025 at the atelier Guillaume Chaplot, 18 rue Henri Barbusse in Sète.
This work consists of two anaglyphs, a technique described as early as the 19th century, which consists of recreating depth when viewed through special glasses, one with a red lens and the other with a cyan (turquoise) lens, two complementary colours.
This image is part of a brand new, long-term project, yet unpublished, which will show me explore both the History of Art and the History of Photography.
Thanks to the MadLab, Agnes Legros, Tarbouriech, La Valise Arlesienne for lending me the equipment, and Dinosauria for the dinosaur.
